£27,000 - £30,000/annum pro rata

Our Board is looking for an experienced individual to manage and co-ordinate Better Lives Partnership across Dumfries & Galloway. The person will have proven experience in managing and delivering projects ideally within the voluntary sector. The post will be based at our Head Office in Castle Douglas, however access to a car is essential since the position will cover wide areas of rural Dumfries and Galloway.

1. To work closely with the Chief Executive and the Board of Trustees to manage and develop all aspects of fundraising at BLP. To lead and manage delivery of projects within the organisation and to support and deputise for the CEO as required.

2. To manage the day-to-day running of the organisation.

3. To provide high level admin support for Management Team and Board members.

4. To be the internal lead for human resources within the organisation, including monitoring and evaluating policies.

5. To ensure appropriate Health & Safety policies and procedures are up to date and complied with, as well as other general compliance/legislation.

6. To manage property/lease responsibilities as a tenant.

7. To help maintain and update Constitution and ensure all AGM’s/EGM’s are managed and delivered effectively.

8. To represent BLP in meetings and forums with stakeholders, partners and prospective partners.
