The SMCC is seeking new Trustees to join its Board at a pivotal stage in the organisation’s development.

Our Trustees are responsible for the overall governance, strategic direction and financial oversight of the charity. Working collectively as a Board, you will help to ensure the organisation operates in line with its charitable purposes, complies with regulatory requirements and remains financially sustainable.

Key responsibilities include:
Contributing to the development and oversight of the organisation’s strategic plan.

Ensuring effective governance and regulatory compliance.

Monitoring financial performance and safeguarding assets.

Supporting and constructively challenging senior decision-making.

Acting at all times in the best interests of the charity and the wider community.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a significant place plan project focused on the growth and long-term sustainability of a key community asset.
