Summary of role
Kate’s Kitchen is a Community Food Hub open 4 days a week Tuesday to Friday. We offer customers the opportunity to come in for a hot nutritious lunch each day. We require volunteers to support our cook in the kitchen in preparing and cooking the meals. We also offer front of house opportunities and cleaning and clearing away.
Training details
Induction; On Going; Support for Volunteers. Work shadow existing volunteer, instruction from cook, food hygiene course if wish, further relevant training.
Skills and time requirement
Customer friendly, sense of humour. Preferably some kitchen experience but training will be given. Flexible volunteer commitment but three hours in a session.
