Dumfries and Galloway Canine Rescue Centre has six charity shops in Dumfries and Galloway. They provide most of the income that allows our kennels in Glencaple to rescue, care for, and rehome stray and unwanted dogs.
Our Dumfries charity shop is looking for a volunteer shop manager to supervise a team of enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers. Dumfries shop is open 10am-4pm Monday to Saturday. Manager’s hours would be 15-20 hours a week, working over three days.
You would be responsible for the day to day management of the shop; supervising volunteers; stock rotation; display and merchandising, point of sales and banking.
4-6 week probationary period. Discounts and Dumfries and Galloway Canine Rescue Centre membership available after probationary period.
