Scotland is creating a national social prescribing framework and Dumfries and Galloway has been chosen as one of just five areas across the country to help shape it.
Whether you run a community organisation, work as a link worker, or support people through social prescribing in any way, we want to hear from you.
Why it matters
The framework is part of Scotland’s Population Health Framework. Its goal is simple: to make sure more people can benefit from good quality social prescribing, wherever they live and whatever their circumstances.
What we’ll talk about
Join the conversation on three key themes:
- The person: what people need from social prescribing
- The workforce: how to support those who deliver it
- The system: how services can work together
What happens next
- Your views will be combined with feedback from across Scotland through an open online conversation.
- The Scottish Government will use the findings to shape the final national framework.
- Everyone who takes part will receive an update on how their input has influenced policy.
- Dumfries and Galloway Health and Social Care Partnership will use the insights to inform local practice.
Make sure our part of Scotland is represented. Services work best when they’re shaped by the people who deliver them.
