Chief Officers Group

COGITS was created for chief officers or equivalents from third sector organisations across Dumfries and Galloway.

The three aims of the group are:

To lead the third sector’s influence on the public and private sectors to achieve collective goals.

To provide a safe, democratic, and supportive network for third sector decision makers in Dumfries and Galloway.

To create an environment for strategic collaborations, which strengthen the third sector’s ability to participate in partnerships.

The group is open to any chief officer to attend with meetings normally held quarterly through the year. To be added to the mailing list for the group, get in touch.

In addition, a messaging platform has also been created for exclusive use by chief officers to discuss a range of issues as and when required or requested.
