Dumfries and Galloway Mental Health Association was established in 1988, providing care and support for adults across Dumfries and Galloway with a diagnosed mental health condition. We are a Regional Scottish Charity with a strong vision and drive to deliver excellence in care support provision.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer we are looking for an experienced and qualified Finance Manager to take the lead on all areas of Financial Management across The Association. Your main responsibilities will be to drive forward further development, performance and sustainability. We are looking for someone who can challenge the status quo, modernise finance systems, and offer real commercial insight to improve business performance whilst not losing sight of our core values. Working as part of the Senior Management Team you will shape financial strategy, drive profitability, and embed robust financial processes.
This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys being both a strategic partner and an operational leader which will be demonstrated through both your experience and qualifications, ICAS, ACCA, AAT or equivalent. Ideally, we would be in addition seeking experience of working for or with charities and fundraising.

We are committed to safer care for adults receiving our services, as such we will be using a demanding and rigorous selection process to fill this post including a Screening Interview, Panel Interview, Service User involvement and full Disclosure Scotland PVG check. References will be taken after successful Screening Interview.
