Be Bold. Be Clear. Be Kind. Be Socially Intelligent.

This valuable one-day in-person programme brings together the leaders and changemakers of Social Enterprises across Dumfries and Galloway to develop the social intelligence skills needed to lead, influence and collaborate more effectively.

Delivered by Sarah Hanson, Managing Partner of Interactifs UK, the session introduces the Interactifs Discipline – a practical, research-based approach that helps people build stronger relationships and achieve better outcomes through the way they speak, listen, act and respond.

Participants will explore how everyday conversations, meetings and negotiations can become more productive, confident and impactful.

Following the main session, participants will be required to take part in two one-hour follow-up calls with Sarah. These sessions are designed to help attendees practice, refine and embed the skills learned, ensuring real and lasting impact in their day-to-day leadership.

Places on this programme are limited. Due to the depth and value of the training, we expect demand to exceed availability. Submitting a registration form does not guarantee a place; participants will be selected to ensure the programme benefits those for whom it will be most impactful.

Applicants will be notified of the outcome by 2nd February. If selected, we ask that you commit fully to attending both the in-person session and the follow-up calls.

By the end of the programme, attendees will be able to:

1. Lead conversations with greater confidence and authority.

Participants will understand how to communicate in ways that increase the authority they convey and the respect they earn, enabling them to speak with clarity and courage in meetings, negotiations and difficult discussions.

2. Improve influence and impact in meetings.

Attendees will learn how to present arguments in a way that makes others more receptive, helping them to be heard, understood and more persuasive when it matters most.

3. Build stronger, higher-quality relationships.

Participants will gain tools to create better working relationships by understanding how interactions shape trust, respect and collaboration – improving both outcomes and enjoyment at work.

4. Handle difficult and uncertain situations more effectively.

Leaders will become more comfortable navigating challenging conversations, including giving negative feedback, negotiating, or raising sensitive issues in a constructive and motivating way.

5. Achieve clearer, more concrete results through communication.

Attendees will leave knowing how to save time in meetings, listen more acutely, and turn conversations into practical outcomes that move their organisation forward.

The programme is designed for people working in social enterprises / not-for-profit organisations who want to strengthen their leadership presence, skill up, improve collaboration, improve communication and generate better results.

ONLY one person from each organisation.
