A practical digital strategy workshop.
This valuable session is delivered by Third Sector Lab, commissioned by TSDG, and being made available to you at no cost. Please apply / register your request for a place, and we will let you know by the 20th of February if you have been successful.
This half-day, in-person workshop is designed for local non-profits / third sector organisations / social enterprises who want to make practical, realistic improvements to how they use digital – without needing specialist roles or big budgets.
Together, we’ll explore what digital improvement really means for small and medium-sized organisations, and how to take simple, low-risk steps that improve services, confidence and decision-making.
In this interactive session, you’ll:
- Explore what digital transformation looks like in practice for organisations like yours
- Assess where you are now and where small changes could make a big difference
- Learn how to test new ideas safely, without overloading your team
- Use data in simple, meaningful ways to support decisions and demonstrate impact
- Learn alongside peers facing similar challenges
Places at this workshop are limited due to the value of the training. We expect demand may exceed availability. Submitting a registration form does not guarantee a place; participants will be selected to ensure the programme benefits those for whom it will be most impactful.
Applicants will be notified of their enrolment by 20th February. If selected, we ask that you commit fully to attending.
By the end of the programme, attendees will be able to:
- Define what digital improvement means for your organisation – Clarify what “digital transformation” means in a way that feels realistic and relevant – and understand why leadership involvement matters, even in small teams.
- Assess your digital maturity – Use a practical framework to identify strengths, gaps and priority areas for improvement.
- Test low-risk digital experiments – Learn how to try new ideas safely, improve services and build confidence across your team.
- Use data more effectively – Explore simple ways to use data for decision-making, measuring impact and designing smarter services.
- Collaborate with peers – Work with other local organisations to map shared challenges and develop practical, achievable solutions.
- Leave with a clear action plan – Take away a leader-friendly digital action plan you can start using straight away.
Staff and volunteers working in small and medium-sized community groups, charities, non-profits, social enterprises and sports organisations who want practical, hands-on support to improve how their organisation uses digital.
No technical background or specialist digital role is required, but it’s aimed at people who are decision makers in their organisation.
