We have an exciting opportunities within our Young Carers support service: Young Carers/Young Adult Carers Support Worker in Nithsdale area.
Have you got what it takes to provide support to children and young people who have caring responsibilities?
• A sound knowledge of working with children and young people.
• An understanding of the role that a Young Carer/Young Adult Carer has and how this can impact their life.
• The skills for a demanding, yet very rewarding job delivering one to one support.
• The skills to help deliver group sessions.
• The flexibility to work after school hours into the early evening, occasional weekend work and residentials.
