Join us for the launch of the Digital Inclusion Alliance Scotland’s Local to National programme in Dumfries and Galloway. This event will bring together organisations from across the region to explore what digital exclusion really looks like locally, hear from national and grassroots speakers, and take part in hands-on activities to help shape a Common Agenda for digital inclusion in Dumfries and Galloway.
Whether you work in health, housing, employability, families, poverty, transport, or any other thematic area, digital exclusion likely touches your work too, and we want your voice in shaping what comes next.
This session is for organisations working across Dumfries and Galloway. Whether digital exclusion is already part of your work or something you’re just starting to think about, if you work with people or communities who could be affected by it, directly or indirectly, this event is for you.
By the end of this event, attendees will have:
- A clearer understanding of what digital exclusion looks like, and how it connects to the work they already do, regardless of their sector or focus area
- Insight into the DIA Local to National programme and what it means for the region
- Contributed to a Common Agenda for digital inclusion in Dumfries and Galloway, a shared roadmap that a steering group will take forward after the event
- Made connections with other organisations across the region working on related issues and registered interest to be on the steering group.
