A free, relaxed day of activities, creativity and family fun, designed with neurodivergent children and their families in mind.
Join us for a welcoming Family Fun Day where children can explore, create, get messy, meet some incredible creatures or simply find a quiet spot to relax.
There’s no pressure to join in with everything. Families can move around the activities at their own pace and choose what feels right for them.
During the day, you can enjoy:
🐍 **Ranger Jay from Kingdom of Creatures**, bringing along some fascinating animals for an exciting interactive experience
🎨 **Wee Messy Crafters**, with plenty of hands-on, creative fun
🌈 **Sensory play** to explore, squish, scoop and discover
✂️ **Arts and crafts** with activities for different ages and interests
🌿 **A quiet chill-out zone** for anyone who needs some space away from the action
🥪 **A light lunch and refreshments** for families to enjoy together

We’re working to better understand the experiences of neurodiverse children, young people, and their families across Dumfries & Galloway, including what works well, what can be difficult and what families would like to see change.
While you’re with us, we’ll invite parents and carers to complete our **Family Voice Survey**. Your experiences will help us build a picture of where things are now and, importantly, help shape what happens next.
There are no right or wrong answers. We want to hear what life is really like for your family.
**The event is completely free to attend, including activities and lunch.**
Come for the activities, stay for as much or as little of the day as works for your family, and help us make sure family voices are at the heart of the project.
