Generations Working Together with funding from the National Lottery for All Scotland fund has created the Voices Less Heard initiative which provides a unique opportunity for third sector workers/volunteers in Dumfries and Galloway to learn about and develop their intergenerational practice.
The initiative provides free delegate places to attend the Global Intergenerational Congress, taking place on 29th to 30th September 2026 in Glasgow. This will also include £100 towards travel/accommodation support.
In November, you can attend a 2 day online CPD accredited course which covers: An Introduction to Intergenerational Practice and Best Practice Evaluation and Design
This initiative is designed to build confidence, strengthen practice, and support people to take new ideas back into their own communities.
