About the Service
Our resource centres are based in Dumfries, Annan, Castle Douglas, Newton Stewart and Stranraer. These are safe and welcoming environments with opportunities to take part in a diverse range of activities to build self-confidence and recovery. We work closely with our service users to plan group activities and events to reduce isolation and encourage connections with their local community.
About the Role
As a Project Worker, you are responsible for group work planning, facilitation and some occasional one-to-one work.
You will work directly with service users who require immediate or on going emotional or practical support in order to deliver the best possible outcomes. You will contribute to personal planning with individuals, recording of their progress and conducting reviews for their plans. You will work closely with other members of staff to achieve outcomes as defined by your line manager.
Within the area team there is a clear line management structure which supports and shapes your practice. You will be responsible for ensuring that the Project provides a safe environment where people can relax, re-establish social skills, develop new ones and enhance their overall quality of life.
