Coordinator Dumfries Business Action

The Town Centre Network Coordinator will lead the development, coordination, and
longterm sustainability of Dumfries Business Action—a collaborative network connecting
local businesses, community groups, agencies, and event providers. The role exists to
strengthen relationships, boost economic vitality, and create a vibrant, resilient, and
welcoming town centre.
A core focus of the role is to improve business–community–agency engagement, increase
crosssector collaboration, and drive footfall through joint initiatives, events, public realm
improvements, and positive town promotion. The Co-ordinator will also help stimulate local
economic growth, support innovation and startups, and contribute to a stronger sense of
community ownership and environmental awareness.
