Celebrate with your volunteers
Every year between June 1-7, the work of volunteers and volunteer involving organisations is celebrated. It is an opportunity to say thank you to all the volunteers who give up their time to help support organisations across the region, Scotland and the UK.
Volunteers have played such a significant role during the pandemic response with people from all walks of life stepping forward to make a difference in their communities.

International Volunteers Day: In December 1985, The United Nations General Assembly approved and started the celebration of the International Volunteer Day. We celebrate every year on December 5.
Trustees Week: This celebrates the hard work (often unseen) undertaken by our volunteer trustees. The annual event normally takes place in the first week of November.
