Nith Valley LEAF Trust (NVLT) has an exciting new opportunity for a development officer to transform our friendly, volunteer led community trust into a professional, business orientated and thriving organisation generating its own income to service current and future projects.
We want someone to lead this initiative who is motivated, commercially aware and community-focused.
Key Aims
• To make NVLT a more professionally run organisation.
• To develop more self-generated income for NVLT
NVLT needs to develop a more professional skilled work force with volunteer support so NVLT Trustees can concentrate on community oversight. To do this more priority needs to be given to income generating projects, including our community shop & café, community field and orchard and ebike fleet. We want to reduce reliance on short term grant funding. NVLT also needs a full strategic plan with better budgeting for each project
