Scottish SPCA

The Scottish SPCA mission is to rescue animals in need across Scotland, providing rehabilitation, rehoming, or release back into the wild, while also working to prevent cruelty and improve animal welfare standards. We want to make Scotland the best place in the world for animals to live!

Could you give up a small amount of your time to raise awareness of our work in your local community or to help us raise vital funds for Scotland’s animals?

There are a variety of different tasks to choose from and you can tailor your volunteering role around your current commitments, undertaking only the tasks that interest you. All we ask is that you commit to helping with 2 events per year.

Our friendly and active team will look after you well! You will be given a full induction and training and can claim expenses for your fuel costs when volunteering.

Statutory training requirements include online training in Health & Safety, Manual Handling, How to Represent the Society and other important topics. This must be completed within 6 weeks of joining us.

We want you to feel part of the Scottish SPCA team – you will have access to your own volunteering account, receive a monthly volunteers’ newsletter and be invited to social gatherings too!
