Training Dog Fosterer [20721]

Guide Dogs (Dumfries and Galloway)

As a Training Dog Fosterer, you’ll provide a loving temporary home to a dog in training, typically for a period of 12 weeks, as they begin their journey to become a guide dog. You’ll get to see the progress your furry companion is making in their training and be a vital part of their journey, without the commitment of looking after a dog full time.

This opportunity is available in Dumfries and Lochmaben. The instructor will collect the dog from your home to carry out training, and return the dog to your home within the working day (Monday – Thursday).

You can find out more at www.guidedogs.org.uk/fosterer and apply online (note we have a specific set up for Dumfries and Lochmaben which isn’t detailed on the website! For more info, speak to Emma on volattractnorth@guidedogs.org.uk)
