Creative Stranraer

Creative Stranraer supports innovation and change in Stranraer and the surrounding area by using art and creativity to engage with the community and as a driver for change. We use creative activities to empower, inspire and upskill our community – connecting people with their local environment, giving them a voice, raising their aspirations, and enhancing their wellbeing.

We are looking for additional trustees to broaden the diversity of our board and help provide governance and strategic guidance us as we grow and develop. If you live in southern Ayrshire or Dumfries and Galloway, can spare around 4 hours per month and believe in our vision and purpose, then we’d love to hear from you.

Our trustees play a vital role in making sure that Creative Stranraer achieves its core purpose. They ensure that Creative Stranraer has a clear strategy and that our work and goals are in line with our vision and values. The board of Trustees oversee the overall management and administration of the charity and support and challenge the staff team to enable Creative Stranraer to grow and thrive so that we can achieve our aims and objectives.
