SWAN
SWAN Places Meet-Ups are peer support social groups for (diagnosed, self-diagnosed, and questioning) autistic (cis and trans) women and non-binary individuals. Due to funding, all of our groups are 18+. We are looking for an autistic volunteer to support our Dumfries and Galloway Meet-Up as a group facilitator. The group meets monthly. Duties include welcoming attendees each month, creating a safe and inclusive group atmosphere, and helping to organise occasional events and activities that happen alongside the monthly Meet-Up. All training required for the role will be provided and references can be given for education and employment. We ask for all volunteers to complete a PVG check as standard.
