																						 Summary of role
Annandale Community Transport have four community cars (including one electric) used to transport residents to routine hospital appointments across the region and out with as required including Glasgow, Edinburgh and Carlisle. ACTS also runs four minibuses – volunteers are trained to drive either or both.
Other information
A full driving licence (ideally with no more than three penalty points) is required. Volunteers should have a friendly outgoing personality, enjoy meeting people and enjoy driving.
Training
Presentation to new volunteers and in-vehicle observed drive.
