Yes. Training will be given by one of our volunteers, but mostly you will learn as you go, picking up information from your volunteer collegues.
Good communicator and outgoing personality. The Museum is open from April to October, daily except Sunday from 11am - 4pm. We work a morning shift from 11am-1.30pm and afternoon from 1.30pm - 4pm.
You will be joinging our friendly team who run the Museum on a purely voluntary basis.
The role involves welcoming visitors to our Musuem and explaining exhibits and talking about the local history of Dalbeattie and the surrounding area.
Prior knowledge of this is not required as you will pick things up a long the way.
