Dumfries and Galloway communities fund to open new round

The Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund for Adults is opening soon for its sixth round in Dumfries and Galloway.

This year, a total of £146,240 will be available through small grants up to £10,000. The fund will launch on Monday 14th September and close on Wednesday 21st October.

Fund priorities are: social isolation and loneliness; suicide prevention; poverty and inequality with a particular emphasis on responding to the cost-of-living crisis; and support to those facing socio-economic disadvantages.

Projects can run from 1st April 2027 to 31st March 2028.

Organisations must be based or already delivering support services in Dumfries and Galloway and with a maximum income of up to £1million. One application is allowed per organisation and current projects in receipt of a round five multi-year award cannot apply.
