Good communicator willing to visit people in their homes

We know the small things can make a big difference for people living with a terminal illness, like having someone to chat to, helping to get to an appointment or just being there to listen.

We are looking for people who are friendly, caring and have good communication skills to help to make somebody’s day a bit brighter.

You will be visiting people in their homes, driving is helpful but not essential for the role.

Our Helper Volunteers give companionship and emotional support to people living with a terminal illness and their families. Once your training is complete you will be matched with somebody who may be on their own or you may be able to give a short amount of respite for their families.
