Our aim is to organise an ‘Annan the History Town Festival’, which will include a series of events throughout the summer bookended by the Annan Riding of Marches week and the Annan Harbour Festival at the end of August, connecting with the theme of Annan’s rich history, including its famous artists and poets.
Taking part will be local businesses, community groups, schools, churches, disadvantaged people, sports groups etc, in addition to Annandale Distillery, Annan Museum and the Devil’s Porridge Museum. The events will take place in various venues around the town. We hope the festival will benefit the local community, businesses, artists and visitors alike.
