The Scheme is an initiative of the Council’s Environment Team and will oversee investment of more than £5million in the area.

Grassroots community groups, social enterprises, and third sector organisations will be able to benefit from the Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund.

She will liaise with and support the businesses, education institutions, and charitable organisations based at The Crichton.

It sets out how the Scottish Government’s approach to planning and development will help to achieve a net-zero, sustainable Scotland by 2045.

The event will bring together staff and volunteers to talk more about the work they do and the support offered.  

The Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund will be open this month in Dumfries and Galloway and the Scottish Borders, with over £750,000 available across the two areas.

Jackets, jumpers, cardigans, hats, scarves, gloves, etc in any sizes are requested – both children and adults.

The sessions will offer a general overview of the Census and what will be required on the ground.

Funded projects will need to be up and running by Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Central Weekend on the June 5 2022.

The social enterprise operates the Community Reuse Shop, The Re:Loved Shop, Fed Up Community Café and Rhins Active.

The project helps those with Long Term Conditions, illnesses and disabilities identify and claim the benefits they are entitled to.
