Online event to share work of Rape Crisis and Sexual Abuse Support Centre

Dumfries and Galloway Rape Crisis and Sexual Abuse Support Centre is holding an online open evening for anyone that would like to hear more about its work.

The event on Thursday December 9 will bring together staff and volunteers from the organisation to talk more about the work they do and the support they offer region-wide.

After a recent review, they are looking to strengthen their board of trustees with women with a connection to Dumfries and Galloway.

“We want to hear from people from all walks of life,” says Acting Manager, Claire Torrance. “As well as women with professional experience, such as HR and Finance, we’re interested in hearing from those with life experience. Dumfries and Galloway is full of people who have lots to offer but might not have thought about joining a board before.”

Attendance is free but ticketed. Please sign up here: https://dgrc-sasc-open-eve.eventbrite.co.uk or contact Claire at claire@rape-crisis.org.uk
