For business, leisure or learning in Castle Douglas, The Zone is the place to be. It is the focal point for a wide wide range of activities for people of all ages. The Zone (the new name for Castle Douglas Community Centre) is a registered charity run by a Board of Trustees elected by its membership of around 400 individuals and businesses to run the Centre, previously owned by Dumfries & Galloway Council, on behalf of the 600 or so users a week. Our primary role is to ensure that the centre is run by the people for the people of Castle Douglas and surrounding communities and that it continues to prosper for many decades to come.
