The support worker will work within the Dumfries and Galloway Multicultural Association shop on Dumfries High Street accompanying families and individuals (who are currently guests of Scotland) in need of clothing and toiletries. The role will include recording items gifted to those in need to help with stock control.

The volunteer will welcome visitors to the museum and to provide information as required. No specific skills required. Ideal opportunity for someone who likes to speak to people and to engage with visitors. An interest in local history would be advantageous but not necessary.
