We are looking to add to our pool of volunteers who deliver microwave ready meals to vulnerable people in the Dumfries area. Food leaves the Centre around 9am Monday to Friday. Use of a vehicle is essential. Fuel expenses covered. This role is subject to a PVG check.

Strathclyde 4×4 Response was established in early 2011 following the severe winter weather making it difficult for many vital services to function. We aim to be able to assist numerous organisations during times of difficult driving conditions from delivering meals on wheels to vulnerable people, and helping community nurses visit their patients.
The assistant will deliver FoodShares to addresses in Kirkconnel, Kelloholm, and Sanquhar on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday around lunchtimes.
