D & G Citizens Advice is a volunteer-led organisation, as such, we are continually recruiting, training, and working with our Volunteers to provide the best experience for them. To do this we work with a variety of volunteering organisations one of which is TSDG. Over the past few months, they have successfully placed two volunteers with us and helped them through their volunteer journey.
We have people from all backgrounds who volunteer with us for various motivating factors, these can be to keep active in retirement, give back to the community, and also to help improve employability. We offer an excellent training programme to ensure our volunteers feel supported, capable, and empowered to deliver our service. We are passionate about ensuring our volunteers receive the best experience. We are continually reviewing our approach to this, using TSDG for updates on policy and best practice for volunteering.
