Communities across Dumfries and Galloway are being urged to seize a major funding opportunity before the latest round of the Community Led Local Development (CLLD) Fund closes on Monday 1 June.
A total of £524,891 is available through the Scottish Government programme, supporting projects that will make a real difference to people and places across the region.
Funding is open to charities, constituted community groups, co-operatives, public sector organisations, small and medium-sized enterprises, community interest companies, and community benefit societies based in Dumfries and Galloway.

- Strengthen rural communities that are isolated, disconnected, under-invested, or facing inequality.
- Support people and families through the cost-of-living crisis and help tackle poverty.
- Enable communities to carry out research, needs assessments, and feasibility studies to support local place plans.
Small Grant Programme – Applications of up to £10,000 can be made, with:
- £200,000 revenue funding available
- £50,000 capital funding available
Main Grant Programme – Applications from £10,001 to £30,000 can be submitted, with:
- £224,300.56 revenue funding available
- £50,590.74 capital funding available
Successful projects will run between August 2026 and March 2027, helping communities deliver lasting local impact.
