Update on Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway’s search for new CEO

An update from our Board on the recruitment process for a new Chief Executive for Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway (TSDG).

“Following Alan Webb’s announcement earlier this year that he intended to step down from his CEO role with TSDG, the Board undertook a full recruitment process. A preferred candidate was chosen but due to personal and professional reasons was unable to take up the permanent post of CEO.

“However, we are pleased to share that Helen Keron has been appointed Interim CEO and will take up post with us from 1st August on a four day a week basis. Helen brings experience from across our sector and in Dumfries and Galloway and has most recently been working with us as interim Head of Communities and Place.

“Alan will remain with us until at least early September to support a handover alongside the wider team. We aim to ensure minimal disruption to our work with partners and our sector, however, appreciate that any change of Chief Executive does mean some settling in time. We appreciate your support over the coming months and hope you will join us in thanking Alan and welcoming Helen.”
